Bimal K Pal is a practicing Foreign Trade Consultant. He represents a Trade promotion consultancy firm "Global Trade Forum" (www.globaltradeforum.net), now engaged in improving the business environment for trade through professional development and training.Bimal K Pal graduated from Calcutta University in commerce with mark of honors. He passed CA Final Group II of ICAI and other special group from IIPA, Ireland. He obtained PGD in Financial Management from IIMC and also elicited PG Certificate in Foreign Trade Management. He is an accredited consultant of UNDP and International Trade Centre, Geneva. Having served Jute Corporation of India for three years (1972-75), he joined Tata International Ltd as Accounts Officer, but later he was assigned in various other capacities in Export operation in TATA groups (including TATA STEEL). He served Tata Group for more than 20 years in the senior management position. He was selected by Govt. of India, ITPO and Export promotion councils as member of the Trade delegation in numerous foreign missions in EU countries, South East Asia, Australia and Middle East countries.
