Amphan Cyclone Relief

Sundarbans, the part of West Bengal has been devasted by the super cyclone Amphan which hit the coast of India 20th may, 2020. One of the most severe storms hits the eastern coast of India in the past several decades. Sundarbans and its adjoining villages and towns in South Bengal are ruined due to Amphan.

In such disastrous situation Our Association of Remedy along with few civil society organization and corporates came forward to support the community of the region who were already in distress situation due to lose of income for Covid-19 related lockdown.

Relief work was done in joint collaboration with AICURD at Sundarban, Raidighi on 2nd July, 2020 and 200 beneficiaries were supported [Dry ration, others household essentials daily needs, cloths for mem & women, food for children]. Similarly, Income Tax Employees Federation Bengal Circle came forward for the Amphan victims of Hingalganj, North 24 Parganas. 400 beneficiaries were supported through the distribution of [Dry ration, cloths for children]. Our Association of Remedy came forward for the support of 250 Amphan victims of Sundarbans (Sagardeep) on 23rd June, 2020. They were supported dry rations, cloths and sanitary napkin.
