Shampa Mistri believes that the association of OAR in her life makes a positive change. She lives in Khalpar slums of Joka, Kolkata. She was working as maidservant in the surrounding locality to help his husband to run the family. But she has always an aspiration in her mind to do something notable. Her dreams came true when OAR skill training team came up with an idea for income generating activity. OAR aims to empower women by increasing their income, enhancing their decision making power. OAR aims to create a structure in which women can be safe and respectfully live their life.She was undergoing tailoring training organized by OAR. Now she runs her own business. She is capable to increase their family income and able to fulfill others necessary requirements of the family. She has a strong believes in future that she can generate working opportunities for others women also.
